Finally Blackstar halo website is opened, enjoy!

Obsucre Entertainment and mr. Ville Salminen has taken charge to create new Blackstar Halo music video. Very talented people from dimedia and Starwreck team will be joining for the production aswell.

So we changed the band’s name to “Blackstar Halo”. There was just too much bands named exactly “Downfall” and so so many twisted versions of it.

Downfall album is finally ready, mixed and mastered! Info about album publishing date soon.

Downfall is heading to Sweden to finish its next full-lenght album. The band will work with producer Jens Bogren at Fascination Street studios in Örebro to mix 9 all new songs for the album likely to be released in 2009. Jens Bogren is widely appreciated with his work with such artists as Paradise Lost, Katatonia, Soilwork and Opeth. The sessions start at December 4^th .

Downfall members are fascinated to lift the album production to a level as  high as that with self funded budget. The recordings have been made earlier in 2008 by the band itself and for the drums by Arttu Sarvanne at Studio Watercastle in Finland.

Downfall in studio now! First stop is to record dr.Kewlberg’s drums with mr. Sarvanne in good old studio watercastle. We will post diary, pictures and videos soon!
